Industrial rubber products are mainly: tires, tape, hose, plate, tape and tape products, seals, damping parts, latex products, hard rubber products, rubber insulation products, cots and rubber lining.
In the production process of rubber products, the use of calender or press machine made in advance of various shapes, different sizes of the process, known as molding.
Molding methods are :
1. Calendering molding
Suitable for making simple sheet and plate products.It is the mixing glue through calender pressed into a certain shape, a certain size of the film method called calendering molding.Some rubber products (such as tires, tape, hose, etc.) used in textile fiber materials, must be coated with a layer of thin glue (glue on the fiber is also called glue or glue), glue coating process is generally completed on the calender.Fiber materials need to be dried and dipped before calendering, the purpose of drying is to reduce the water content of fiber materials (so as to avoid water evaporation foaming) and improve the temperature of fiber materials, in order to ensure the quality of the calendering process.Dip glue is a necessary work before hanging glue, order, the purpose is to improve the red dimension material and glue binding performance.
2. Pressing molding
Used for more complex rubber products, such as tire tread, rubber hose, metal wire surface coating needs to be made by pressing molding method.It is to have a certain plastic mixing rubber, into the hopper of extrusion machine, under the extrusion of the screw, through a variety of mouth (also called template) for continuous model, a method before delivery, rubber must be preheated, make rubber soft, easy to squeeze, to get a smooth surface, size accurate rubber products.
3. Molding
You can also use the molding method to manufacture some complex shapes (such as leather bowl, sealing) rubber products, with the help of the Yin and Yang mold molding, the rubber material placed in the mold heating molding.
